Shield Gules, issuant from base wavy of Argent and Azure a throughout bridge Argent masoned Sable with one arch, on chief a heraldic rose Azure seeded Argent, barbed Vert and nimbed Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "FREGUESIA DE VOUZELA".
Meaning:
Base wavy and bridge are representations of the name giving Zela River and its local ancient bridge. The blue rose is an attribute of Our Lady of Assumption, the local patron saint.

Vouzela was one of the six communes of Vouzela Municipality affected by the 2013 changes. It had 1350 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 5,17 km².

Shield Vert, an embattled tower Argent with port and windows Sable and masoned of the same, flanked by two swords Argent in pale hilted Or, issuant from base a mount Argent garnished Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "PAÇOS DE VILHARIGUES".
Meaning:
The tower is a representation of the Medieval Tower of Vilharigues. The remains of its façade nowadays are part of a modern public building, probably an information centre. The mount probably is a representation of the Caramulo Mountains.

Paços de Vilharigues was one of the six communes of Vouzela Municipality affected by the 2013 changes. It had 647 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 8,37 km².
