The flag of the Rural Parish of Banos is horizontally divided yellow over blue over white, where yellow is higher, and with parish coat of arms on it

Another version of the Baños flag is used; this version does not use the coat of arms of the parish. Unfortunately, I could not find any information
about the flag, but I'm guessing the meaning of yellow and blue are the same as on the coat of arms, perhaps white is for peace?

Symbolism of the coat of arms, according to Revista Baños - Cuenca:
"The coat of arms has the shape of an iron, being divided in thirds with the colors blue, yellow, and green being prevalent.
Blue symbolizes the water and sky that God has created for the town of Baños. Yellow represents the wealth of the soil and the times of harvest.
Green symbolizes hope and renewal of life; as well as the greenery in nature and the abundant vegetation of this piece of Cuencan land.
In the blue third is the Basilica of the Virgin of Guadalupe, who with her mantle protects the parish, especially in its hills, where the thermal waters lie, sources of wealth and work.
In the yellow third exists a lyre which represents the music created by its children and a gear which represents the small industry in the parish.
In the green third are a sheaf and agricultural tools, being symbols of agricultural identity of its children.
The sun represents the parish in its fullness, the stars are its original settlements, and the laurel branch is a symbol of the glory of its children.
Finally, in the lower portion,
there is a ribbon with the inscription 'Baños-Azuay', to differentiate from the Baños in Tungurahua Province. The creator of the coat of arms is Professor Rolando Pacurucu,
teacher of the school Alfonso Carrión Heredia."
