On the eve of the 115th anniversary of its founding, in an emotional
ceremony led by Mayor Vicente Omar Fantoni, the flag of Quimilí was officially
raised. The city is the capital of the Moreno department. The badge was
designed by Ivo Iván Pereyra, a 21-year-old fine arts student from the
Cooperativas neighborhood, who participated in the “A Flag for My People”
contest, organized by the Youth Department.
The flag
The cloth shows the sky blue and white colors that represent the Argentine
Nation, fine red lines that identify Santiago del Estero, the Incan sun in
allusion to light, life, strength. The train tracks symbolize the birth of our
people, representing progress, a bovine specimen and the plowed land, symbolize
our main productive activity. In the center, the hands hold a book and a
hammer, representing the foundations of a people, education and work. Lastly,
the parennes quimiles species that were imposed to give Quimili its
name.

The creator of the Tintina flag is Paola Santillán, a renowned artist from the city.
As part of the celebrations for the 115th anniversary of the city of Tintina, the Culture Secretariat, dependent on the Municipality, organized a contest through which the flag that will represent the community was chosen.
The flag is made up of a quebracho tree, represented in the form of a fingerprint as a symbol of identity.
Furthermore, the stem and brown roots in the shape of a treble clef
represent music, an undeniable value among the city's youth.
Finally,
the rings of the Olympic flag surround the treble clef, alluding to the
recreational and sporting activities that have given so much satisfaction to
the people of Tintina.

The flag of the Municipal Commission of Weisburd in Department of Moreno is
horizontally divided light blue-white-red with a central emblem on the white
stripe, vertically divided black-yellow-white-blue, bearing a green disk
depicting a factory(?) on the two central panels.
