An earlier flag of the City of Mountlake Terrace, Washington, has a blue background and green border on all sides. In the middle is city logo which presents a mount lake. It was created in 2008. Image of the flag and information thanks to Virginia Olsen, CMC, City Clerk/Community Relations Director.

The city:
"Mountlake Terrace is a city in Snohomish County, Washington, United States. It is located east of Edmonds, south of Lynnwood, and west of Brier, and its southern boundary runs along the King County line. Interstate 5 runs through the city from north to south and services the city via three exits.
