Description of the flag

The flag for the village of Glenwood, Illinois, consists of the seal centered on a white bedsheet. The seal is a circle within a circle within a circle. The outer two circles are yellow and the inner circle is divided into thirds. A yellow silhouette of Illinois with a black outline is superimposed in the intersection of the thirds. On the silhouette is a black star to represent the village's location and the year 1871. The upper third is white and contains the word "LIVE". The lower left third is red and contains the word "WORK". The lower right third is blue and contains the word "PLAY". There is a brown eagle(?) covering the bottom of the Illinois silhouette with its wings spread out.

Glenwood is a village in Cook County, and had a population of 8,662 as of the 2020 census. Glenwood is a southern suburb of Chicago.
