Description of the flag

In January 2024, the village of Buffalo Grove adopted branding logos designed by North Star Branding + Marketing .

According to the Community Branding Guide, the logos include vibrant leaves to reinforce "the beautiful physical environment" and to represent "interconnectedness and diversity." The shades of green "reinforce the community's love and appreciation for the parks, greenspace, and connectivity." The blue/turquoise represents "the feeling of tranquility, peace, and safety." The buffalo includes a leaf pattern suggesting a grove and "showcases progress with the forward movement represented in diagonal stripes."
