Sheriff's Office

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is the primary law enforcement agency responsible for serving the unincorporated areas of the county as well as operating two jails and providing courthouse security. The Sheriff's Office works closely with five other police departments within the county - the Tampa Police Department, Plant City Police Department, Temple Terrace Police Department, Tampa International Airport Police, and University of South Florida Police.
