The flag graphic shown above was provided by the Deputy City Clerk as such. It consists of the word RIVERBANK colored in light blue and green, edged in gold, on a blue field, with CALIFORNIA written in gold below. At the bottom on a white stripe is "CITY OF ACTION - EST 1922" in gold.

I provide our City logo/emblem and our City flag emblem. Unfortunately, after doing some research I was unable to find any information pertaining to the history of the City logo/emblem or City flag. I assume that the cheese & wine
displayed on the logo represents Riverbank's annual Cheese & Wine Exposition. This exposition is an event hosted by the Chamber of Commerce where local and near by wineries as well as a variety of craft and food vendors participate in this street fair. A major part of the exposition is the wine tasting event. The train displayed represents the Santa Fe Railroad which runs through the city. I do know that in 2002 a company in Las Vegas, NV specializing in label pins, designed our current City flag emblem.
I hope that this information has been of some help. If I can further assist you, please do not hesitate to contact me. Once again thank you for your interest in the City of Riverbank.
