Description of the flag

The flag was adopted in 2017 after the previous flags had deteriated in the period of over decade of ussge. I was sent a photo of the current, as well as the former city flag by the city administration on Facebook. The flag is a yellow field with a blue outline of Arkansas. In the center of the outline is a red heart with the city and state names encircling the heart. The heart possibly refers to the city's motto "A Small Town With a Big Heart," which are found on the city's welcome signs.

The previous flag was adopted in 2005 after a "Design a City Flag" contest held in the month of September. The entries were judged by the city council on November 14 where Logan Evans was the winner of the flag contest, who was a student of Guy Perkins School and received $25 in prize money. I was sent a photo of the current, as well as the former city flag by the city administration on Facebook. The flag is a yellow field with a blue outline of Arkansas.
