Heraldry:
"On 12 April 1994, the session of the town council approved
the gonfalon: a square canvas with a ratio of 1:1. In a dark blue
field there is Archangel Mykhail. On the sides the gonfalon there
is yellow edging with width of 1/5 of a width of the gonfalon.
The author is A.Grechylo."

Heraldry:
"On the 12th of April 1994, the town council session
confirmed a modern emblem - in an azure field there is archangel
Michael in or clothes and a gules shirt with an argent sword and
an or shield with gules cross. The wings are argent, the nimbus
is or and the archangel stands on an argent cloud."

Heraldry:
"City in Lviv Oblast. The first mention refers to 1397 when
the Polish king Yagailo allowed to settle territories of a
mountainous desert locality. The name, probably, has it origin
from the word "skala".In 1660 the settlement got a
status of a town."
