Heraldry:
"The first data about it refers to 1710-1720. Then Dmytro
Matusevych, comrade of Rich Pospolita national cavalry, has
received the sanction on the village foundation from prince
Yavlonovs'kyi, Bila Tserkva colonel.
Inhabitors remembered about Matusevych as the village founder in
the beginning of XX century. Obviously, the name of village
occurs from a surname of the founder.
In symbolics uses the family Matusevych sign "Labendz"
("Swan"). In Ukraine this family was known by
L.Matusevych, one of the Revolutionary Ukrainian Party founders
(January 1900), and also member of the Helsinki group, former
political prisoner, public figure and journalist
M.Matusevych."
