The flag of Kalecik (photo)
now is white with the municipality's emblem. "Belediyesi" means "Municipality".
The emblem of the municipality features a stylized representation of the castle of Kalecik (photo), built on a cone-shaped hill close to the modern town. The hill connects to a ridge south-west in the mountains that is high above the plain that has been formed by river Kizilirmak (Red River).
