Flag of Sjenica

The flag of the Sjenica is blue, in proportions one to one and a half, with the municipal coat of arms placed in the middle along the transverse axis.
The coat of arms of the municipality has the shape of a shield. In the middle of the coat of arms, the entire width of the shield shows a graphic representation of the old Sjenica fortress. At the bottom of the shield is the year "1253".
More detailed provisions on the appearance and use of the coat of arms will be prescribed by a special Decision.

The coat of arms is in a shield shape, based on medieval shields as an essential heraldic element and a traditional symbol of protection, while in the middle is an old fortress from the Ottoman period.
The golden parts at the foot of the fortress symbolize cobblestones, and the roofs of the fortress are golden as a symbol of history and existence.
The city rests on the red ground on which the rivers Jablanica, Grabovica, Uvac and Vapa are located, with a stylized representation of their meanders.
Green fir trees symbolize natural and geographical features and the hilly-mountainous relief of the Pešterska plateau.
At the bottom of the shield is year "1253" when Sjenica is first mentioned.
