Shield Azure two dolmens Argent set per fess, in chief a wyvern Or animated and langued and armed Gules, on base a fess wavy Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "SANTA MARTA DA MONTANHA".
Meaning:
As frequently happens with recent CHAAP material, what is blazoned as a dragon (dragão) is represented as a wyvern (serpe) — showing only two legs; in the case at hand this is compounded by the needless (and kinda problematic in what it reveals) mention that this is a winged dragon (dragão alado), as if a wingless dragon were the default.
The dolmens are correctly specified to be of the archeologic kind (antas arqueológicas) because this word anta in Portuguese may also mean "tapir" (and indeed "tapir" is a Portuguese synonym of it); no actual tapirs in modern Portuguese local heraldry, as far as I know, although there is no justifiable reason for that.
