Shield Or, in base a fess wavy Azure charged with two barrulets wavy Argent, above the fess a building Argent garnished Sable flanked as follows by four objects: 1) in dexter chief a Paschal Lamb couchant reguardant Argent, in sinister chief an inescutcheon Azure charged with 13 plates ordered 2:3:2:3:2:1, in dexter base a cogwheel Argent partially covered by a rose of Gules and Argent and a single grain ear Vert, in sinister base a corn cob Or leaved Vert. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "VILA DE GRIJÓ".

Grijó Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Vila Nova de Gaia Municipality (q.v.); it had 10 578 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 11.5 km².

Shield Purpure, a fountain Argent spitting water of the same between two corn cobs Or leaved of the same, in chief two keys Or crossed per saltire, in base a lyre Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "SERMONDE".
Meaning:
The crossed keys are an attribute of St. Peter, the local patron saint.
