Shield Argent, a pilgrim’s staff Sable, set in pale with a tied calabash Gules between a grape bunch Purpure fruited Vert at dexter and a twig of chestnut tree Vert with burs Vert cracked Or at sinister. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "SANTIAGO DA RIBEIRA DE ALHARIZ".
