Shield Or two water jugs averted Sable garnished Argent in fess, on chief a nimbus Gules charged with a pair of keys crossed per saltire tied Argent, the bendy one Or and the sinister bendy one Argent, on base a hand spindle Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and short white scroll, in Bénard Guedes style, reading in black upper case serifed letters "MOLELOS".
Meaning:
The crossed keys are an attribute of St. Peter, the local patron saint.

Molelos is one of the 12 communes of Tondela Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 2225 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 14,83 km².
