Mural crown with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black initials: "CASÉVEL - SANTARÉM" or simply "CASÉVEL".

Casével Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Santarém Municipality (q.v.); it had 859 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 33,23 km².

Shield Or with base wavy of Azure and Argent, above the base a yew eradicated Vert between two 5-point stars Gules, in chief the Holy Spirit, realized as a dove Argent nimbed Gules. Mural crown with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black initials: "VAQUEIROS - SANTARÉM".
Meaning:
The Holy Spirit is the patron saint of the commune. The stars are a differenciation of the Coutinho family arms, the arms were inspired by the cover of a rhymes book of Luís de Camões from 1596. This book was dedicated to Dom Gonçalo Coutinho, Lord of Vaqueiros and protector of the poet. The family arms display five red stars in a golden shield. Draft designed by José Bènard Guedes, the local council and the local parish.

Vaqueiros Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Santarém Municipality (q.v.); it had 294 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 3.4 km².
