Shield Argent a wine glass Gules (blazoned as chalice), on chief two grape bunches Purple leafed Vert, on a base wavy Azure a barrulet wavy Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "FREGUESIA DE PESO DA RÉGUA".

Peso da Régua was one of the eight communes of Peso da Régua Municipality affected by the 2013 changes. It had 5292 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 5,76 km².
