Shield Argent, a pine tree proper flanked by a grapevine Purpure leaved Vert at dexter and an olive branch eradicated Vert at sinister, a bordure dancetty Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and short white scroll, in Bérnard Guedes style, with inscription in black initials "SEZURES".

Sezures is one of the 11 communes of the Penalva do Castelo municipality; it had 726 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 22,7 km².
