Shield Or semy of oak twigs Vert fruited Sable, a castle Sable masoned Argent with port and windows Argent with three embattled towers, in base a bar wavy Azure charged with a barrulet wavy Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "INSALDE".

Presentation of Insalde

Insalde Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Paredes de Coura Municipality (q.v.); it had 364 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 11.1 km².

Coat of arms

Shield Vert divided by a bar wavy Argent charged with a barrulet wavy Azure, in chief scales or balanced by a sword flamy Or, in base a granary Argent topped by a cross of the same with a door of strips Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "PORREIRAS".
Meaning:
Sword and scales are attributes of St. Michael, the local patron saint.

Porreiras Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Paredes de Coura Municipality (q.v.); it had 95 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 7.5 km².
