Shield Argent; three hydrangeas of Azure and Argent, leafed and stemmed Vert and ordered per fess; in chief a creek cross Gules with three acorns vert on each bar; base wavy Argent, charged with a barrulet wavy Azure and a barrulet wavy Vert, issuant from base a mount Vert. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "SANTO ANTÓNIO DE NORDESTINHO".
Meaning:
The acorn cross is an attribute of St. Anthony, name giver and patron saint of the commune. The base wavy is symbolising the location at the sea shore (green wave) and a local creek (blue wave).
