Shield Or two chestnut twigs Vert fruited Argent in fess, on chief an oven Gules masoned Argent open Sable with flame Gules, on base a rowan tree eradicated Vert and fruited Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers(village rank) and short white scroll, in Bénard Guedes style, reading in black upper case serifed letters "SOLVEIRA".
Meaning:
The word "solveira" is a folk allophone of "sorveira", the name of the plant Sorbus domestica in Portuguese, known in English as service tree or rowan tree (or seldom as whitty pear). The arms are therefore partly canting.

Solveira is one of the 17 communes of Montalegre Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes ; it had 150 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 12,17 km².
