Shield Argent a raised granary Azure with windows Or, in chief two thunder bolts Gules pointing to the abyss, issuant from flanches and from base wavy Azure charged with a barrulet wavy Argent a hump bridge Sable masoned Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and short white scroll, in Bénard Guedes style, reading in black upper case serifed letters "FERRAL".
Meaning:
The thunderbolts refer to the local hydroelectric dam and power plant of Venda Nova on the River Rabagão — which is in turn showing in the arms by means of the wavy base.
