Shield Argent two deer passant respectant proper, in chief a millstone Gules, issuant from base a triplemount Vert superimposed by a bar wavy Argent charged with a barrulet wavy Azure. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "CERVOS - MONTALEGRE".
Meaning:
The word "cervos" means "deer"; the arms are therefore partly canting.

Cervos is one of the 17 communes of Montalegre Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes ; it had 227 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 33,07 km².
