It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a plain yellow background (village rank).

The arms are Gules an arc Argent masoned Sable flanked by two olive branches OR, all over a base wavy Argent and Azure. Mural crown argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "S. SALVADOR DA ARAMENHA".
