The logo of the united commune is white, displaying the three coats of arms of the former communes, ordered 2:1, the two of Moura above, that one of Santo Amador below, the whole is surrounded by three "petals" in the shield colours, i.e. two shades of blue and one yellow.

Coat of Arms

Shield Azure three crescents recumbent Argent in bend, om sinister chief a shrub of chickpeas Or fruited Argent, on dexter base a branch of olive Or fruited Argent. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE MOURA (SANTO AGOSTINHO E SÃO JOÃO BAPTISTA) E SANTO AMADOR".
Meaning:
Each crescent is representing one of the three former communes. They are also alluding to the name Moura (= moor). Chickpea and olive are symbolising agriculture. Furthermore the charges are taken from the arms of the former communes as follows: the crescent from Moura (Santo Agostinho), the olive from Moura (Santo Agostinho) and Moura (São João Baptista), and the chickpea from Santo Amador.

Moura (Santo Agostinho e São João Baptista) e Santo Amador is one of the communes of Moura Municipality, newly created by the 2013 mergers; it had 8039 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 287,4 km².

Coat of Arms

Shield Azure, a crescent recumbent Argent, between two olive branches Argent, leaved Or and fruited sable, crossed per saltire in base; in chief a heart Or, flamant Gules and Or and pierced by two arrows Or in saltire. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "MOURA - SANTO AGOSTINHO".
Meaning:
The flaming heart is respresenting St. Augustine, local patron saint and name giver of the commune. The crescent is representing the heritage of the Moors (Port.: mouros) and the old age of the settlement. The olive branches are representing the main business line of the commune.
