Shield Or a pall wavy Argent fimbriated Azure flanked by two eradicated cork oaks Vert, fruited and peeled Gules, in chief an olive twig Vert fruited Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE BARCEL, MARMELOS E VALVERDE DA GESTOSA".
Meaning:
This coat of arms illustrates the idealized grography of the commune at a river fork, emphasizing local silviculture.

Barcel, Marmelos e Valverde da Gestosa is one of the six communes of Chaves Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 320 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 48,74 km².
