Coat of Arms

Shield Vert with base wavy of Argent and Azure, issuant from base wavy a throughout bridge Or masoned Sable with two arches, on chief a key Or and a palm frond Argent in saltire. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and short white scroll, in Bénard Guedes style, reading in black upper case serifed letters "TORNO".
Meaning:
The base wavy is a representation of the Sousa River, the bridge is a representation of a nameless ancient bridge crossing the river. Key and palm frond are attributes of St. Peter of Fins, to whom the people adore especially in the Minha Region. His existence is however disputed and mismatched between St. Peter and St. Felix the Deacon.
