Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale of Or and Gules with base wavy of Azure and Argent, on chief at dexter a funny theatre mask Gules, abased two sheep respectant Argent, more abased five rye ears Vert in fess, above the base wavy an anvil Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "Pousade - Albardo".
Meaning:
These arms combine elements of both predecessors of the commune: base wavy, ears and mask are taken from the arms of former Pousade Commune, sheep and anvil from those of former Albardo Commune. These arms are used without approval, because:
1) they are breaking rules of heraldry (green ears and black anvil on red)
2) they don´t match the guidelines of the CHAAP (partition per pale is not allowed)
3) they don´t use initials (not forbidden but unusual)
4) it is more a kind of logotype, used by the commune on official papers, but connected with a local seal displaying the arms of Portugal.
