Shield Argent a quince tree eradicated Vert fruited Or, on chief a Marian crown Gules with gems Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "MARMELEIRO - GUARDA".
Meaning:
The quince tree (Latin: Cydonia oblonga / Portuguese: marmeleiro) is a canting element. The crown is an attribute of Our Lady of Conception, the local patron saint.
