Shield Argent, issuant from base wavy of Argent and Azure a triplemount Vert, on chief a coat parted Gules between two distaffs Sable in pale with yarnss Azure. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "FREGUESIA DE FUNDÃO".
Meaning:
The parted coat is an attribute of St. Martin, the local patron saint. The distaffs refer to the Royal Woolen Mill, established by the Marques of Ponbal. Triplemount and base wavy symbolise watercourses and the mountain ridges of Gardunha and Estrela.

Shield Argent and olive tree eradicated Vert fruited Sable, accompanied on chief by two apples Gules leafed Vert, issuant from base wavy of Argent and Azure a valley Vert. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "VALVERDE – FUNDÃO".
Meaning:
The apples are symbolising orcharding and the fertile soil. The tree is representing the existence of very old olive trees and the production of high quality olive oil. The base wavy is representing the banks of Meimoa and Pouca Farinha. The green valley (Port.: vale verde) is a canting element.

Meaning:
The triplemount is a representation of the mountain ridge of Gardunha. The twigs symbolise agriculture, especially the cultivation of olive trees. The tower is a representation of the Chapel of Pancas.
