Shield Argent a pigeonry Vert with two rows of six ports Argent, in chief two doves volant addorsed Azure animated Gules, in base a grape bunch Purpure leafed Vert. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "POMBAL - CARRAZEDA DE ANSIÃES".
Meaning:
The pigeonry (Portuguese: pombal) and the doves (Portuguese: pombas) are canting elements. The grape bunch is symbolising viticulture.

Pombal is one of the ten communes of Carrazeda de Ansiães Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 230 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 16,82 km².
