Shield Or two pine trees eradicated Vert fruited Gules in fess, on chief a compass rose Gules with Northern pointer Vert. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "PINHAL DO NORTE".
Meaning:
The name of the commune means "pine wood of the north". The arms are thus fully canting, displaying two pines for the wood and the compass rose for the cardinal direction.

Pinhal do Norte is one of the ten communes of Carrazeda de Ansiães Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 214 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 16,82 km².
