Shield Vert the likeness of a Moorish woman´s head Proper dressed Argent and crowned by an ancient crown bejewelled Or, flanked at dexter by an alder branch and at sinister by an oak branch, both Or fruited Argent, crossed per saltire on base and tied Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE AMEDO E ZEDES".
Meaning:
The Moorish queen is representing former Amedo Commune, the brnaches former Zedes Commune.

Amedo e Zedes is one of the four communes of Carrazeda de Ansiães Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 401 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 23,43 km².

Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and short white scroll, in Bénard Guedes style, reading in black upper case serifed letters "AMEDO".
