Shield Argent, two flails Gules crossed per saltire, between a pine branch Vert with a single cone Gules in chief and a heraldic fountain in base. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "SANGUINHEIRA".
Meaning:
The branch is symbolizing the local pine woods. The flails are symbolizing agriculture. The fountain is symbolizing the local riches of water, having 12 fountains, e.g. Corgo Encheiro, Casal dos Netos and Zé Raposeiro - Fervença.
