Coat of Arms

Shield Vert with base wavy of Argent and Azure, on fess point a castle Argent with port and windows Sable and masoned of the same, on chief a bezant flanked by two lozenges Argent. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE CELORICO (SÃO PEDRO E SANTA MARIA) E VILA BOA DO MONDEGO".
Meaning:
The lozenges and the base wavy are representing former Vila Boa do Mondego Commune, castle and bezant former Santa Maria Commune, the bezant also former São Pedro Commune. Its arms displayed five bezants.

Celorico (São Pedro e Santa Maria) e Vila Boa do Mondego is one of the four communes of Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 2067 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 41,1 km².

The shield is Azure, five bezants Or ordered per fess, in chief two keys crossed per saltire, one of them Or, the other Argent, placed between two branches of olive Or fruited Argent, in base a rock Argent garnished Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "CELORICO - S. PEDRO".
Meaning:
The crossed key are attributes of St. Peter, local patron saint and name giver of the commune.

Shield Vert; a castle Argent with three embattled towers, port and windows Gules and masoned Sable; between a fleur-de-lis Or in chief and a bezant in base. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "CELORICO - SANTA MARIA".
Meaning:
The fleur-de-lis is an attribute of St. Mary, name giver of the commune and local patron saint.

Coat of Arms

Shield Argent with base wavy of Azure and Argent, issuant from base wavy a throughout bridge Sable masoned Argent with one arch, above six lozenges Gules ordered 2:4, on central chief point an orb Azure with fittings Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "VILA BOA DO MONDEGO".
Meaning:
The unusual local patron "saint" is the Transfiguration of Our Lord Jesus Christ. The orb is his attribute. The base wavy is a representation of the name giving Mondego River.
