Coat of Arms

Shield Or a pillory Argent, flanked by two olive twigs Vert fructed Sable, in bend at dexter and in bend sinister at sinister, on either chief corner a grape bunch Purpure leafed Vert. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "BARAÇAL".
Meaning:
The charges refer to the local pillory, viticulture and oliviculture.
