Shield Purpure base wavy Argent a barrulet wavy Azure a mortar and pestle Argent flanked by two rye ears Or in pale, in chief a Marian crown Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "PARADELA - CHAVES".
Meaning:
The Marian crown is an attribute of Our Lady of the Snow, the local patron saint.

Paradela was one of the 30 communes of Chaves Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes ; it had 216 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 8,22 km².
