Shield Azure on a mound Or issuant from base a hoe blade Sable, the mound topped by a single tower castle Or masoned Sable with port an windows Gules in chief two keys in saltire with Argent over Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "ÁGUAS FRIAS"
Meaning:
The crossed keys of gold and silver are an attribute of St. Peter, the local patron saint.
