Shield Azure two millstones Argent, in chief a lion passant Or langued and armed and animated Gules, holding a palm frond Argent, in base a maize plant couped Or fruited Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "AGILDE".
Meaning:
The lion with palm frond is an attribute of St. Euphemia, the local patron saint.

Presentation of Agilde

Agilde is one of the ten communes of Celorico de Basto Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes ; it had 1159 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 9,01 km².
