Shield Azure, two open books Argent bound Gules in fess, in chief weighting scales Or balanced on a wavy bladed sword Argent hilted Or, in base a radiant sun with face Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letter "GUALTAR".
Meaning:
Sword and scales are attributes of St. Michael.
