Shield Gules, three triplets of wheat ears Or in fess, in chief a mitre Or garnished Azure with scarves Or, in base crossed hammer, piercer and pick axe, all Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE TRIGACHES E SÃO BRISSOS".
Meaning:
The triplets of wheat are representing former Trigaches commune, the tools former São Brissos commune. The mitre has replaced the cross Lorraine from the São Brissos arms, which probably should be interpreted as an episcopal cross here.
