Shield Vert, in chief a dove Argent with spread wings surrounded by a half circle of rays Or, in centre a branch of durmast (Latin: Quercus petraea, the stone oak) Argent between two wheat ears Or, all tied Gules, in base a sunflower Proper. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black initials: "SÃO GREGÓRIO - ARRAIOLOS".
Meaning:
Oak and wheat had been the main sources of agricultural abundance. Sunflowers are very common in the local fields. The dove is a somehow canting element, usually symbolizing the Holy Spirit, here it is an attribute of St. Gregor, the local patron saint. Draft designed by Eduardo Lourenço Brito.

São Gregório Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Arraiolos Municipality (q.v.); it had 330 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 74.36 km².

Shield Argent, two twigs of cork oak Vert with acorns Or, in chief a jug Gules, in base apear Vert, which looks however like an apple. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank)and white scroll reading in black initials: "SANTA JUSTA - ARRAIOLOS".
Meaning:
The oak twigs are referring to the most important economic branch, the production of cork. The jug is an attribute of Sta. Justa, the local patron saint. The pear is alluding to a location named Vale Pereiro (= valley of pears), from which emerged the location of Santa Justa as seat of the commune. Draft designed by Eduardo Lourenço Brito.

Santa Justa Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Arraiolos Municipality (q.v.); it had 225 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 46.5 km².
