Shield Gules with base wavy of Argent and Azure, in centre a heraldic foutain, in chief two scallops Or ordered per fess. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll (Bénard Guedes style) with inscription in black capitals "CALDELAS - AMARES".
Meaning:
The scallops are attributes of St. James the Elder, the local patron saint. The heraldic foutain is representing the local hot springs. The base wavy is representing Homem River and Ribeiro Albito.

Caldelas Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Amares Municipality; it had 872 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 4.1 km². Caldelas is a young commune, it became a "freguesia" on 2 July 1993 and was upgraded to a town the same day.
