Shield Or a fess Sable masoned Argent, in chief scales Gules balanced on a sword flambant of the same, in base two olives Sable leafed Vert with their stems in saltire. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "AGROBOM".
Meaning:
Sword and scales are the usual attributes of St. Michael, the local patron saint, in Portuguese heraldry.

Meaning:
The name of the commune means "valley of pear trees". The pear trees (Portuguese: pereiros) are canting. The partition of the shield is symbolising a valley and thus also canting.
