Shield Or with base wavy of Azure and Argent, in fess an eradicated chestnut tree Vert capsuled Gules and fruited Or at dexter and an eradicated pine Vert fruited Or at sinister, on chief a grape bunch Purpure leafed Vert. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE ALDEIA DO MATO E SOUTO".
Meaning:
Grape bunch and pine are representing the former Aldeia do Mato commune, the chestnut tree the former Souto commune.

Aldeia do Mato e Souto is one of the five communes of Sabugal Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 676 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 44.77 km².

Meaning:
