Szczawnica - urban-rural commune, Nowy Targ County, Małopolskie Voivodship.
Another fine spa and resort town with the beneficial hot and cold alkaline springs. The spa was owned since 1909 by Count Adam Stadnicki and his descendants, but was nationalized by the communist government in 1947.
In 2005, by the court decision, the spa was returned to the rightful owners, family of Count Stadnicki.

Arms and flag were adopted in 2003 ( no exact date available)

The second field features a spring with golden base and silver (white) water erupting upwards.

Flag: yellow rectangular field with two vertical blue bands on booth sides each being of 1/5 of the width of the flag.
Arms of the town are displayed centrally on yellow field. Ratio is 5:8."
