The municipal flag of Yécora is white with a version of the municipal coat of arms centered upon it. Adoption year unclear, but sometime within the past decade is likely.

The coat of arms of Yécora was adopted during the administration of 2000-2003, under Municipal President Artemio Guerrero Aguiar. It was designed by José
Martín Borbón Morales, being adopted through a call from the administration for proposals. In the upper-left quadrant of the shield, there is a deer and rooster
on a cloud. On the right is a head of cattle by a cloud bearing sticks; these animals are part of the natural environment and local industry, ranching. In the center of the upper half
is another shield, divided into four quadrants. Common fruits of the area, such as apples, pears, peaches, and oranges are depicted in the upper-left. The lower-left depicts the items
harvested here, corn and wheat. The upper-right depicts a mound with a crossed pick and shovel for mining. The lower-right depicts a tree and timber, symbols of the logging industry.
The lower half of the shield depicts a typical scene in the municipality, with mountains, the clouds above, a lake, forest, and a cabin. Both halves are horizontally divided by a band
which reads "ALONSO S.J. FUNDADOR 1673". Above the shield is a ribbon reading "YECORA SONORA".
