No Flag

I was informed the municipality does not use a municipal flag with its coat of arms.

Coat of Arms

image from Wikimedia Commons

The coat of arms was adopted in 1995, being designed "with the support of the community".

Above the shield are two Ionic columns, topped with flames. They are connected by a bar, in the center of which there is a shape reading "BACOACHI". Below the shield is 1649, the foundation year, which is surrounded by a laurel for peace. In the upper-left section of the shield, there is an orchard on the upper bank of the Sonora River and a head of cattle on the lower bank. To the right, on the upper bank of the river, is ore on a track leading into the mountains, a symbol of mining; on the lower bank is a horse. On the bottom is an animal-drawn plow with a man behind, showing the agriculture of the region.
